Jennifer first stepped onto a yoga mat more than 25 years ago, looking for an activity to complement her aerobic exercise routine. What she discovered was something far more magical: the remarkable way yoga relaxed her body, quieted her busy mind, and created space for greater well-being. Since then, yoga has been a constant source of strength, resilience, and joy. Her mat has become a sanctuary where she can ground herself, reflect, process life’s challenges, strengthen her body, explore new possibilities, and reconnect with what matters most.
Inspired by the profound impact yoga had on her life, Jennifer completed her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training in the Anusara tradition and began teaching in 2014. Her commitment to lifelong learning later led her to mindfulness meditation, further deepening her understanding of the mind-body connection. Today, she also facilitates mindfulness-based programs as a healthcare professional at a local hospital, supporting others in cultivating resilience, self-compassion, and overall well-being.
Jennifer’s classes thoughtfully weave together yoga, mindfulness, and compassion to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students can slow down, move with intention, and develop a deeper connection with themselves. She believes yoga is more than a physical practice; it is a pathway for self-inquiry and a resource for navigating life with greater awareness, clarity, and ease. Each class is guided by a meaningful theme or story that encourages curiosity, reflection, and practical insights that extend beyond the mat and into everyday life.
When she is not teaching or facilitating mindfulness programs, Jennifer enjoys spending time in her garden, experimenting with new baking recipes, and finding joy in the simple rhythms of daily life.

I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. I completed my 200-hour YTT course through Balance Yoga Studio, graduating in 2008. Since then, I have furthered my education through several courses, adding to my portfolio such disciplines as Yin Yoga, Somatic Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Chair Yoga, Barre, Strength Training and Functional Training. I continue to learn different techniques to incorporate into the classes I teach so I can offer the best experience for all who join me on the mat. Over the years, I have enhanced my home practice by adding strength and functional exercises, creating Yoga Fusion—this class has been a favourite of mine to teach. Helping my clients become stronger through this practice has been so rewarding.
I am also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Through this training, I have learned the body needs more than just a physical practice; we need to heal ourselves from the inside out.
